TOUCH-A-TRUCK FOR EARLY LEARNING COALITION
April 6, 2019
Team Holland has coordinated the popular Touch-A-Truck event for the past several years for the Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee (ELCIRMO) counties at the Martin County Fairgrounds. The event is always a big hit with families and children who enjoy the chance to get up close and personal with the variety of trucks, tractors, fire engines and commercial vehicles on display.
Team Holland contacts local businesses to solicit their involvement in the event. "All of the trucks on display are from local businesses," Lisa commented. "We are grateful for their willingness to participate in this event with their resources and employees."
If your company would like to have your truck equipment showcased, please e-mail Team Holland for details. Sponsorships are also available; they provide great visibility and reinforce your community commitment. Team Holland will get all the details to you- just call
They also organized the setup of the sponsors' area and assigned parking places for all the vehicles, handled the parking and made sure that everything runs smoothly all day long. This allows the ELCIRMO staff and volunteers to be free to meet and greet the attendees and raise awareness for their organization.
The ELCIRMO provides financial assistance for families in the communities they serve, and offer support, training and resources to community providers who serve approximately 7,800 children daily through School Readiness, VPK and free Resource and Referral programs.
